Remember the guy who played Biff in the Back To The Future Trilogy? He does standup now. I caught him once on XM, but this is hilarious.

Every year I see a new Halloween costume endeavor that floors me.
This is this years--->Wolverine
Last years was the most authentic Gordon Freeman (Half Life) costume I'd ever seen.

I got all nostalgic after that and found these gems:
Watching Mr. Rogers moonwalk is awesome.
I saw this years ago and I'm still floored by it. He gave the senator GOOSEBUMPS and won $20 million to fund Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. You might think at certain points he's not going to pull it off, and that any man who just goes off into song lyrics is a loon, but if anyone could do it Fred could.
Here's the classic intro. Ahh the memories are flooding back.
Oh my God I remember this closing song... I'm glad he was my television neighbor.
When I have kids this will be essential viewing for them.

I nearly died when I saw that. And here's some funny Dead Rising haikus:
Just shut up, Otis!
I know I'm in the food court!
The transciever sucks!
I hate it when the
female zombies try to take
a bite of my Frank
Who's leaving me weapons?
Uzi above the shoe store.
There every time, why?
You cannot die Frank
because if there was a war
who would cover it?
LOL.

Happy 8th Birthday
!
You've made the past 8 years of my internet-searching life amazing. And my stock has never been better lol.
Google was unreachable the other day and I had to use Search.com but the scary thing was it took me about a minute to decide what search engine to use. When I thought about it, I hadn't used anything BUT Google in about 5 years.

So Weird Al was going to have his new video "White And Nerdy," a parody of Ridin' Dirty, debut on AOL Music. However the video got leaked days before this was to occur.
Here for your viewing pleasure:
That man still cracks me up. My favorites are still Asshole Sun, Smells Like Nirvana and Amish Paradise.

I thought this thing was pretty cool.

It stores your body heat to always stay charged and warms up to 120 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 seconds, every hour, on the hour, beginning 24 hours before your anniversary. Pretty amusing :P
The Police reference from this Gizmodo post had me laughing too. What a good song.

Expect some new nifty changes. I've been studying up on my Photoshopping skills as well as my web-design again, and this blog will be what I want it to be at some point. ::insert tacky under construction pic here::
I've switched my blog over to Blogger Beta, so posts are a lot more reliable. They post in under 10 seconds now. That's an impressive feat by itself lol. Bear with me as I work out all the kinks.

I heard this a long time ago but I heard it recently again and it really cracked me up. Lyrics are below but a listenable song is here.
Final Fantasy is an RPG
The only one that I need
It's the RPG for me
Final Fantasy is all that I play
All other games are lame
It puts them all to shame
I only play games that are popular
I only buy the games the magazines tell me to buy
That way I know I get good games for sure
I may have a shallow mind
But you can kiss my behind
Final Fantasy; it consumes my life
And that is probably why
I'll never have a wife
Final Fantasy has awesome music
And that is probably why it
Always gets remixed
I always buy the soundtrack to each game
Oh it is the only thing that I will listen to
Oh sure one day it may drive me insane
You may think that I'm a fool
Well I'm here to say "Screw you!"
Final Fantasy on PlayStation 2
With music by Nobuo
And graphics by Wong Chu
It is Final Fantasy number ten
Must save the world again
Right here from my own den
Hopefully I'll get through the game just fine
I don't know why I continue to play each game
They'll be making these 'til the end of time
Oh I guess that I will pay
For these new games 'til Doomsday
Anyone who has played will appreciate this.

Anjem Choudary.
"This week he stood outside Westminster Cathedral in central London to call for the execution of the Pope as punishment for 'insulting Islam'. He fulminated against Pope Benedict XVl, adding: "Whoever insults the message of Mohammed is going to be subject to capital punishment."
It's a long way from his days as a medical student at Southampton University, where, friends say, he drank, indulged in casual sex, smoked cannabis and even took LSD. He called himself 'Andy' and was famed for his ability to drink a pint of cider in a few seconds.
One former acquaintance said: "At parties, like the rest of us, he was rarely without a joint. The morning after one party, I can remember him getting all the roaches (butts) from the spliffs we had smoked the night before out of the ashtrays, cutting them up and making a new one out of the leftovers.
"He would say he was a Muslim and was proud of his Pakistani heritage, but he did-n't seem to attend any of the mosques in Southampton, and I only knew of him having white girlfriends. He certainly shared a bed with them."
On one occasion, 'Andy' and a friend took LSD together. The friend said: "We took far too much and were hallucinating for 20 hours."
Choudary failed his first-year exams, switched from medicine to commercial law and did his final year as a law student at Guildford, from 1990 to 1991, before moving to London."
It's good to know this guy is just a rambling stoner who almost failed out of college. Execute the pope? Yeah.....right.

So a dream of mine is to one day open up a restaurant or maybe a coffee shop/cafe.
I've even gone so far as to think of some names.
Java, The Hut
Grand Brew Auto (if it was a drivethrough)
Joe2Go
The Brew Crew
Brewed Awakening
Joe-mentum
A Whole Latte Love
Inbound Espresso
The Three Ami-joes
Coffee 2.0
Yeah I've given thought to this. Who wants to be a co-owner?

This nun was slaughtered as a result of what the pope said. Why on earth should the Pope apologize - he was quoting a medieval text! If a historian quotes Hitler, that doesn't mean that he supports those views himself. Any extremists, of any religion, who incite hatred and violence should be jailed. If they have moved here from another country they should be made to return. We should not tolerate such behaviour any longer in our midst. Spare a thought for the poor nun who has been murdered in Somalia her only crime was to be a Catholic. She devoted her life to helping people.
It's scary the reverberations that are occurring from this. Sometimes it's not that hard to see how forces could move against the Church one day.

As it stands now, the recent oil-price slump has brought the national average for a gallon of unleaded gasoline down to $2.59, according to the AAA motor club. In the Seattle area, prices per gallon have fallen to $2.856 currently from $3.071 a month ago, a decline of 7 percent, according to AAA.
Should oil traders fear that this downward price spiral will get worse and run for the exits by selling off their futures contracts, Verleger said, it's not unthinkable that oil prices could return to $15 or less a barrel, at least temporarily. That could mean gasoline prices as low as $1.15 per gallon. as per Drudge Report

I knew it was only a matter of time.
"At least 10 stingrays have been found dead and mutilated on Australia's eastern coast since "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin was killed by one of the animals last week."
Who'd have ever thought Steve Irwin had such an impact on the world?

* As impressive as Kingda Ka may be, it is worth noting that it is not the first of its kind. While Xcelerator at Knott's Berry Farm was the first hydraulically-launched coaster, Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point (the coaster which formerly had the title of "fastest" and "tallest" prior to the completion of Kingda Ka) is the most similar in design. All of these coasters were manufactured by Intamin. The most notable difference between Kingda Ka and Top Thrill Dragster is that Top Thrill Dragster lacks Kingda Ka's second hill; it instead has a flat brake run. Kingda Ka's tower is 36 feet (11 m) taller than Top Thrill Dragster's, and its launch is 4 mph (6.5 km/h) faster. Another notable difference is that Kingda Ka lacks Top Thrill Dragster's "christmas tree" starting lights, making it hard to know exactly when the launch will occur.
* Kingda Ka is different from Xcelerator in that, like Top Thrill Dragster, it lacks Xcelerator's double banked turns near the end of the ride.
* The downward spiral actually twists slightly less than 270 degrees, because the second hill is angled back toward the station rather than parallel with the launch track. On the other hand, Top Thrill Dragster's brake run is parallel to its launch track, so it spirals a full 270 degrees on the way down.
* It is less than one foot taller than the Great Pyramid of Giza, however the original height of the pyramid was 481 ft. - 25 ft. taller than Kingda Ka.
* It is 151 feet (46 m) taller than the Statue of Liberty, including its pedestal and base. Interestingly, the Statue itself (not including its pedestal and base) is that exact height - 151 feet tall.
* At the top of the first hill, riders feel negative g force.
* At the bottom of the first hill, riders experience 3-4 times the normal g force on earth.
* Kingda Ka is 45 stories tall.
* Kingda Ka never runs in the rain, even a slight drizzle, due to the potential hazards of traveling through the rain at 128 mph.
* Kingda Ka's launch is almost double the speed of the launch of the park's Batman & Robin: The Chiller (70 miles per hour or 110 km/h).
* Kingda Ka's hydraulic launch motor is capable of producing 20,800 horsepower (15.5 MW) peak.
* Kingda Ka is visible from the NJ 37 bridge connecting Toms River, New Jersey to Seaside Heights, New Jersey, 34 km or 21 mi from Six Flags Great Adventure.
* Kingda Ka is briefly visible directly ahead when passing exit 8 on Interstate 195.
* Kingda Ka is almost double the height of Nitro, the second tallest roller coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure (230 ft or 70 m).
* Kingda Ka's second hill is higher than the highest points of the park's Rolling Thunder, Batman: The Ride and Skull Mountain. The second hill is also only 13 feet (4 m) shorter than the highest point of Medusa.
* One of the park's tigers, a rare golden tabby bengal tiger cub, is named Kingda Ka after the coaster.
* The skylines of Philadelphia to the left, New York City to the right and Atlantic City to the back-left can be seen from the top of the tower.

Here's why there was really an XBox 360 Shortage. (via Kotaku)
It looks like someone may have figured out what happened to a batch of those early Xbox 360s to make them lock-up and overheat. A German modder took apart two Xbox 360s and found that during assembly someone forgot to remove the protective layer of foil from the GPU heatsink’s heat transfer pad.
In other words instead of cooling, the heatsink was likely acting like a frying pan.
That matches up with the report received by Kotaku shortly after launch that a huge batch of Xbox 360s were recalled internally. In other words, they found something wrong and never shipped them out to stores, and a global shortage happened.

These are some Dear God letters from kids.
We read Thomas Edison made light but in Sunday school they said you did it. So I bet he stoled your idea. Sincerely, Donna
Dear God, Please send Dennis Clark to a different camp this year. -Peter
Dear God,
If you let the dinasor not exstinct we would not have a country. You did the right thing.
-Jonathan.
Dear God,
Maybe Cain and Abel would not kill each so much if they had their own rooms. It works with my brother. - Larry
Dear God,
If you watch in Church on Sunday I will show you my new shoes. -Mickey D.
Dear God,
Please put another Holiday between Christmas and Easter. There is nothing good in there now. -Ginny
Dear God,
I bet it's very hard for you to love all of everybody in the whole world. There are only 4 people in our family and I can never do it. -Nan
Dear God,
Thank you for the baby brother but what I prayed for was a puppy. -Joyce
Dear God,
I think the stapler is one of your greatest inventions. -Ruth M.
Dear God,
I went to this wedding and they kissed right in church. Is that ok? -Neil

So the Winter Olympics are on us again. I don't enjoy these as much as the summer but they're still good fun nevertheless. If you can't find it in your busy schedule to catch them then drop on over to NBC where you can watched every event for free (after a short delay of course). Beats missing them altogether.
Today is Valentine's Day.
"The origins of Valentine's Day are uncertain. Many experts believe that it originated with Lupercalia, a Roman celebration honoring the wolves Romulus and Remus. During this festival, young men struck women with a goatskin hide called a februa. Receiving the blows was thought to make women more fertile and to ease childbirth. At Lupercalia, the names of all the young women in the city were placed in a box. Young men drew a name from the box and the couple would be paired until the next Lupercalia. Lupercalia was replaced with Valentine's Day by Christians.
Others trace Valentine's Day back to the rule of the Roman emperor Claudius II. In the 200's C. E., Claudius become frustrated when he had trouble recruiting soldiers into his army. Believing that the young men did not want to leave their wives and children, Claudius banned all marriages of single young men. However, a priest named Valentine disobeyed Claudius and performed secret marriages. Claudius found out about the marriages and sentenced Valentine to prison until his death on February 14, 270 C. So beat your partner with an animal hide or get married in secret but if you really want to be special do something amazing for her NEXT week. After all you shouldn't just be treating her amazing on this one day only...right? Don't be one of those sad pathetic whining jerks who sits around and curses the day. So you're alone for Valentine's Day? Yeah so is like 75% of the country. Focus on what the day means...it's about Love and Caring. And if you don't have someone, being happy that they've found that in this world. It's a good thing.

To all my friends and family...you mean the world to me.
I love you all.

The longer I'd stall
The further I'd crawl
The further I'd crawl
The harder I'd fall
I was crawlin' into the fire
The more that I saw
The further I'd fall
The further I'd fall
The lower I'd crawl
I kept fallin' into the fire
Into the fire
Into the fire
And the more that I knocked
The hotter I got
The hotter I got
The harder I'd knock
I just gotta break through the door
Gotta knock a little harder
Gotta knock a little harder
Gotta knock a little harder
Break through the door
The further I'd crawl

Whew...it's been a rough few weeks. So much is happening lately. Sorry to anyone who's been trying to get in touch with me lately things have been CRA-ZY. When it rains it pours, that's for sure. Recently a close friend of mine from college tried to commit suicide, but thank god she's alright and is finally getting help. It's scary how you never know about some things until it's too late.
Got to see the kids last weekend. We saw Nanny McPhee, not a half-bad film. I've always have respect for Emma Thompson ever since I saw Wit where she plays this college professor who gets cancer and eventually dies from it but realizes a lot of things about her life. Very good movie.
I finally put 2 of my Netflix Movies back in the mailbox this morning lol. I've had them since October, so it was about time to actually be GETTING something out of my Netflixxing.

Rise and shine, campers, and don't forget your booties 'cause it's cooooold out there today.
It's cold out there every day. What is this, Miami Beach?
Not hardly. So the big question on everybody's lips.
On their chapped lips
their chapped lips is, does Phil feel lucky? Punksatawney Phil, thats right wood chuck chuckers it's
GROUNDHOG DAY!

Even though I said I'd hit Punxsutawney Phil on the head with a shovel if he even thought about seeing his shadow...well I won't do that. I love Phil. And he didn't run AWAY from his shadow, so maybe it really WON'T be 6 more weeks of winter. I mean with the weather lately it's been pretty mild. I'm hoping February isn't a bitch.

Yay Cowboy Bebop! Love this song.
Call Me Call Me
I close my eyes and I keep seeing things
Rainbow waterfalls
Sunny liquid dreams
Confusion creeps inside me raining doubt
Gotta get to you
But I don't know how
Call me call me
Let me know it's alright
Call me call me
Don't you think it's 'bout time
Please won't you call and
Ease my mind
Reasons for me to find you
Peace of mind
What can I do
To get me to you
I had your number quite some time ago
Back when we were young
But I had to grow
Ten thousand years I've searched it seems and now
Gotta get to you
Won't you tell me how
Call me call me
Let me know you are there
Call me call me
I wanna know you still care
Come on now won't you
Ease my mind
Reasons for me to find you
Peace of mind
What can I do
To get me to you
Come on now won't you
Ease my mind
Reasons for me to find you
Peace of mind
Reasons for livin my life
Ease my mind
Reasons for me to know you
Peace of mind
What can I do
To get me to you

Dear stupid dog, I've gone to live with the children on Jolly Farm. Good bye forever. Stewie.
P.S. I never got a chance to return that sweater Lois gave me for Christmas. Umm, I left the receipt on top of my bureau. I'm probably over the thirty day return limit but umm… I'm sure if you make a fuss they'll at least give you a store credit or something. Umm.. It's actually not a horrible sweater. It's... It's just I can't imagine when I would ever wear it you know? Oh I also left a button on the bureau. I'm not sure what it goes to, but I can never bring myself to throw a button away. I know that as soon as I do I'll find the garment it goes to and then it'll… Wait a minute, could it be from the sweater? Did that sweater have buttons? Hmm… Well I should wrap this up before I start to ramble. Again, goodbye forever.
P.P.S. You know, it might be a little chilly in London, I'm actually going to take the sweater.

"I Remember"
Do you ever wonder where
We would be if we'd have tried
A little harder?
It seems like yesterday
That we were making plans
For the future
But it's been so long
Since I have known the truth
These dreams we've left abandoned
And I'm haunted by your face
And the memory of your kisses
Sweet kisses
Do you remember?
I still remember so much
I remember never feeling so alive
Do you remember?
I still can't forget your touch
We swore that we would never end
We knew our love transcend space and time
Do you remember?
I still remember so much
I remember never feeling so alive
Do you remember?
I still can't forget your touch
We swore that we would never end
These memories slip away
The ghost of what we were
Is fading
But there is no more pain
Which is funny 'cause that night
I was dying
Now I don't even recognize
The girl I swore that someday
I would marry
But I can't forget her face
And I can't forget her kisses
Sweet kisses
Do you remember?
I still remember so much
Or how we swore that we would never be alone
Do you remember?
I still remember so much
I remember never feeling so alive
Do you remember?
'Cause I still remember so much
We swore that we would never end
We knew our love transcend space and time

It’s a rare condition, this day and age,
To read any good news on the newspaper page
Love and tradition of the grand design,
Some people say it’s even harder to find
Well then there must be some magic clue
Inside these tearful walls
Cause all I see is a tower of dreams
Real love burstin’ out of every seam.
As days go by, we’re gonna fill our house with happiness.
The moon may cry,
We’re gonna smother the blues with tenderness.
When days go by, there’s room fr you, room for me,
For gentle hearts an opportunity.
As days go by,
It’s the bigger love of the family...
Infinity Points if you get it without looking.

From Gizmodo:
If you were going to score free DVDs somehow, what better way then to steal Netflix rentals from your neighbor’s mailbox? Just ask your jolly mailman! He’s already jacked up Mr. Thompson next door for 503 movies. Gloria Flores used to work for the USPS until she admitted to stealing over 500 DVDs in the mail from Netflix. She got 3 years probation and 100 hours community service. How’d she get caught? People in the town of Lyons started not receiving their Netflix rentals and called the Postmaster to complain. An investigation was launched and sure enough, Flores had stolen everyone’s movies. Even Gigli.

Sonic Says
"Kids there's nothing more cool than getting a hug from someone you like. But if someone tries to touch you in a place or a way that makes you uncomfortable that's NO GOOD!
No one has the right to touch you if you don't want them to. So what do you do? First you say "No" then you get out of there!"
THANKS SONIC!

Saw this on the GameFaqs XBox 360 Boards, cracked up:
Where have I seen this kind of product shortage before?
In east Germany after WW2 there were shortages.
Or Willie Wonka not letting anyone into his factory for so many years, then he comes up with this "Golden Ticket" idea and sells a ton of chocolate.
When Cartman wouldn't let anybody into his theme park.
lol.

| Guru Congratulations! You got 63% of the questions right! |
You've reached the point where people consider you an expert. Whether they need you to get them through that one unbeatable level, or show them the easiest way to get around a puzzle, they know they can turn to you for advice. You also know quite a bit about the gaming world in general, and probably spend a lot of time in IRC and on message boards discussing new rumors. As such, many people justifiably consider you a defining source of gaming advice, even though they secretly wish you would shower more often. |

(CNN) -- Scientists analyzed the portrait of the Mona Lisa, a woman with famously mixed emotions, hoping to unlock her smile. They applied emotion recognition software that measures a person's mood by examining features such as the curve of the lips and the crinkles around the eyes.
The findings? Mona Lisa was 83 percent happy, 9 percent disgusted, 6 percent fearful, and 2 percent angry, according to the British weekly "New Scientist."

Stolen from Kotaku:
A blogger got a chance to have a quick chat will Williams about gaming while the comedian was working on a film in the area. Here’s the conversation: “Hey Robin - do you still play online games?” “Oh way too much!” he said. “What are you playing these days?” I asked “Battlefield 2 - the 2 stands for 2 in the morning.” “Oh really? What class do you like?” “Hmm?” “What class do you like to play as?” “Oh - the sniper. I’m always the sniper!” he said enthusiastically. “Well I’ll watch out for you” “Well you can try - but by the time you see me you’ll be dead!!” LOL oh Robin. **Edit** Found an interview from awhile back confirming Robin loves the games I do as well :) Tuesday, December 13, 2005

" * vertical orientation alone does not scratch DVDs * horizontal orientation alone does not scratch DVDs * movement of the Xbox 360 during play scratches DVDs * -Movement could be someone running through the house and sending shocks to the system through your floorboards -Movement is often done on purpose when friends try to show friends the cool way in which the ring of light reorients itself with its fancy mercury switch -Movement is often accidental, as when annoying controller cables are tripped over in the dark, jarring the Xbox 360 -Sometimes, people just get sick of poorly designed boss fights, and kick their Xbox 360s in frustration -And sometimes, customers are committing fraud by purposefully destroying games that have been played to completion so that they can be exchanged for store credit that is used to purchase new games" Wednesday, November 30, 2005
I know it's long, but just read it . . .
The story goes that some time ago a man punished his 5-year-old daughter for wasting a roll of expensive gold wrapping paper. Money was tight and he became even more upset when the child pasted the gold paper so as to decorate a box to put under the Christmas tree. Nevertheless, the little girl brought the gift box to her father the next morning and said, "This is for you, Daddy." The father was embarrassed by his earlier over reaction, but his anger flared again when he found the box was empty. He spoke to her in a harsh manner, "Don't you know, young lady, when you give someone a present there's supposed to be something inside the package?" The little girl looked up at him with tears in her eyes and said, "Oh Daddy, it's not empty. I blew kisses into it until it was full." The father was crushed. He fell on his knees and put his arms around this little girl, and he begged her to forgive him for his unnecessary anger. An accident took the life of the child only a short time later and it is told that the father kept that gold box by his bed for all the years of his life. And whenever he was discouraged or faced difficult problems he would open the box and take out an imaginary kiss and remember the love of the child who had put it there. In a very real sense, each of us as human beings have been given a golden box filled with unconditional love and kisses from our children, family and friends. There is no more precious possession anyone could hold. Friends are like angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly. Think positive and act. This is nice finding something positive out of every negative, which we don't always manage to do. I am thankful.... For the partner who snores all night, because he is at home asleep with me and not with someone else. For the taxes that I pay, because it means that I am employed. For the clothes that fit a little too snug, because it means I have enough to eat. For my shadow that watches me work, because it means I am out in the sunshine. For a floor that needs mopping, and windows that need cleaning, because it means I have a home. For all the complaining I hear about the government, because it means that we have freedom of speech. For the parking spot I find at the far end of the parking lot, because it means I am capable of walking and that have been blessed with transportation. For the pile of laundry and ironing, because it means I have clothes to wear. For weariness and aching muscles at the end of the day, because it means I have been capable of working hard. For the alarm that goes off in the early morning hours, because it means that I am alive. And lastly... For too much e-mail, because it means I have friends who are thinking of me. THINK POSITIVE!!

Pearl Jam has a new album coming this year...and as a dedication here are some of my favorite Eddie Vedder quotes of all time:
"We're very reluctant to disclose song meanings. If a person lends their own interpretation of a song, it becomes their song, too. Music for some people is very personal; they need it. "If you just feel like saying, '**** this, **** that, **** everything, **** you -- I'm getting the **** outta here... Living is the best revenge..." "Hey Listen A$$hole, one more ****er throws a ****ing quarter out here, and we're out of here, I'm tellin ya ****er, what the **** your blowin it for ****in everybody. Hit me with a ****ing quarter again, and **** it, I'm outta here, we're all outta here, **** you, and if anyone sees someone throw change right next to them, you have my permission to personally beat the ****ing holy shit out of them. Thank you very much, ****ing idiot. AHhhhhh, that felt good. Thank you." -After being pelted with quarters from some moron.
"If you landed a Premium Xbox 360, you just cost Microsoft $126. That’s the number that Business Week is giving regarding how much Microsoft is losing on each Xbox 360 being sold. Losing money on console releases is nothing new. Sony did and will again, it’s part of the game, lose money on the hardware, make it back in software. Similarly, the report says that the original Xbox contained $323 worth of parts and retailed for $299. So the hit to Microsoft is a little bigger. Unless you landed a Core pack. In which case, we owe you a hug." via Kotaku.
TAKE THAT MS. I costed you money yay. Tuesday, November 22, 2005So I've got my XBox 360 and is a sweet piece of hardware. Way to go Microsoft, you've entered the hardware business finally. The XBox was an asthetic nightmare, however the 360 looks like it could belong in any living room. So people WERE camping. It was pouring but tents and the like were up outside of Best Buy last night. My pickup was painless and prompt. Stopped at EB at 10 to get my ticketed number, (11). My guesses were very accurate as there were only about 20 preorders on shipment 1. I'm glad I'll be nowhere near that mall until Black Friday if we decide to brave that. What surprised me most isn't that there were campers, or even parents with young boys, or even girl gamers. The most surprising thing was the solo-parents who were really committed to getting that Christmas gift for their kid. It's kind of touching in a way. There definintely was that 30-something hippie guy who labeled him self an "radical liberal." Damn sandal wearing hippies. Manhattan....Kansas...see the campers NJ Target Camper Interviews XBox 360 Inventory Locator And here are the 5 rules of NO NOs for Camping Line Etiquette: #1 Consorting with store employees. The quickest way to turn the line against you, Benedict, is to laugh it up with employees. From the line's perspective, they've already hoarded two-thirds of the available consoles and are guilting the weak minded into purchasing outrageous bundles and/or warranty plans. #2 Pulling your car up to the curb and blasting the radio. You may think that everyone loves country music as much as you do, but they don't. Just wear headphones and keep the humming to a minimum. #3 Wearing "I Love Morgan Webb" T-shirts. It's just obnoxious. Besides, just because we didn't think to wear ours, doesn't mean we don't feel the same way! #4 Playing football. You're not fooling anyone. We know you've never played a sport in your life. Don't start at the launch line where one bad pass could end with several cracked PSP screens. #5 Saving spots. Don't expect it to be all candy and roses if your pals try to sneak into line with you 5 minutes before the doors open. Countries have gone to war over less and you will not survive it. Bill couldn't get any more gay... I WON! This guy is lucky he didn't get JACKED or knocked the (@*#*(@ out leaving Best Buy. Most stores had a 1-console limit but jerks like this, everyone will always believe he's off to scalp it. Monday, November 21, 2005
XBox 360 Supports XLink Kai!
I've used XLink Kai for about a year now. It's an IP-tunneling software that allows you to play other XBox, PS2, Gamecube, PSPs, or DS's by tricking your system into thinking there's one right next to it. If you're not apt to buy an XBox Live account...you can still play for free! :) Friday, November 18, 2005
Here are some funny XBox360 forum posts about the power "brick" adapter. Cracked me up. Love those XB Fanboys.
The brick reminds me of the power generators on Hoth... -Tie it to the ankles of your enemies, locate the Hudson River and perform your own mob hit! -Slide it across the floor and turn on the 360 so the power brick opens up and sucks in ghosts. -Get it confiscated by the FBI because they mistake it for a Weapon of Mass Destruction. -Xbox360 Power Supply Tossing: The NeXt Olympic Sport. -"Take it to the Airport and set it down" -That's a power cord? I thought they were giving away the old Xbox with the new one! -In case of car failure use it for an emergency backup battery. -Can we say Flux Capacitor? -I'm not sure a Delorean has the necessary horsepower to haul that thing. -Some say that Noah, with the help of God, made the original power brick which he used to survive the great flood. -Don't worry, there will be plenty of human sacrifices available when store clerks announce "Sorry folks, that's all the 360's we have!" on launch night. The floors of retail stores all over the country will run with enough human blood in the ensuing riots to sate the malicious thirst of the power brick for years to come! -Have you thought about counseling together? Even though it is an almighty system, it has no right to make you feel inferior or beat you. You are an equal partner in the relationship between you and your XBOX, don't let it make you feel different. -It seems to me that a power brick on your front porch is an advertisement that you own a 360, which I think would actually entice burglars... Of course, they'd need the power brick to play it, and they couldn't lift the power brick without a power brick, and if they already had a power brick, chances are they already have a 360.... -The brick must be destroyed! I will take the brick into Mordor and cast it into Mount Doom! -Take it to the airport and chock the wheels of aircraft LOL Convincing The Old To Get You A XBox 360 Link and pic stolen from Kotaku-But only because I love you Crecente :) Wednesday, November 16, 2005
Well all the game and tech reviewers got their XBox 360s either last week or this.
AnaTech has already gutted one!
It's getting to be that time again...Christmas Card time! I'm trying to collect addresses for all my friends since I don't have as many as I used to. You can email them to me at phonysoprano@gmail.com or drop 'em to me in IM. I'll get 'em one way or another and I wouldn't ask you to put sensitive info like that in a comment :D

So it's official...I *will* be getting my 360 Launch Day. I called to double-check and this is how it's going to work:
The system launches technically on Tuesday September 22, 2005. So Monday evening around 9/10 pm I'll be heading to my Electronics Boutique Express to "get a number" which determines what space "in line" you get yours. Funny (and LUCKY) thing is it won't be that ridiculous. We're talking under 50 people here. I asked the guy today how many launch systems they were expecting and when he sounded doubtful of 50 I asked 30, to which he muttered under his breath "Lower than that." So I'll definitely get it launch "minute" and as an added bonus there won't be any ridiculous wait line. ::shudders at memory of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas wait line:: w00tw00t! Chuck Norris' tears cure cancer. Too bad he has never cried.
Rather than being birthed like a normal child, Chuck Norris instead decided to punch his way out of his mother's womb. Shortly thereafter he grew a beard. When Chuck Norris plays Oregon Trail his family does not die from cholera or dysentery, but rather roundhouse kicks to the face. He also requires no wagon, since he carries the oxen, axels, and buffalo meat on his back. He always makes it to Oregon before you. Chuck Norris recently had the idea to sell his urine as a canned beverage. We know this beverage as Red Bull. Chuck Norris built a time machine and went back in time to stop the JFK assassination. As Oswald shot, Chuck met all three bullets with his beard, deflecting them. JFK's head exploded out of sheer amazement. Chuck Norris's girlfriend once asked him how much wood a woodchuck could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood. He then shouted, "HOW DARE YOU RHYME IN THE PRESENCE OF CHUCK NORRIS!" and ripped out her throat. Holding his girlfriend's bloody throat in his hand he bellowed, "Don't fuck with Chuck!" Two years and five months later he realized the irony of this statement and laughed so hard that anyone within a hundred mile radius of the blast went deaf. Chuck Norris sold his soul to the devil for his rugged good looks and unparalleled martial arts ability. Shortly after the transaction was finalized, Chuck roundhouse kicked the devil in the face and took his soul back. The devil, who appreciates irony, couldn't stay mad and admitted he should have seen it coming. They now play poker every second Wednesday of the month. Chuck Norris was the fourth Wiseman. He brought baby Jesus the gift of "beard". Jesus wore it proudly to his dying day. The other Wisemen, jealous of Jesus' obvious gift favoritism, used their combined influence to have Chuck omitted from the Bible. Shortly after all three died of roundhouse kick related deaths. The original theme song to the Transformers was actually "Chuck Norris--more than meets the eye, Chuck Norris--robot in disguise," and starred Chuck Norris as a Texas Ranger who defended the earth from drug-dealing Decepticons and could turn into a pick-up. This was far too much awesome for a single show, however, so it was divided. To prove it isn't that big of a deal to beat cancer. Chuck Norris smoked 15 cartons of cigarettes a day for 2 years and aquired 7 different kinds of cancer only to rid them from his body by flexing for 30 minutes. Beat that, Lance Armstrong. Chuck Norris lives by only one rule: No Asian Chicks. Chuck Norris once shot a German plane down with his finger, by yelling, "Bang!" A man once asked Chuck Norris if his real name is "Charles". Chuck Norris did not respond, he simply stared at him until he exploded. Chuck Norris does not sleep. He waits. Chuck Norris can make a woman climax by simply pointing at her and saying "booya". Before each filming of Walker: Texas Ranger, Chuck Norris is injected with five times the lethal dose of elephant tranquilzer. This is, of course, to limit his strength and mobility, in an attempt to lower the fatality rate of the actors he fights. Chuck Norris once went to a frat party, and proceeded to roundhouse every popped collar in sight. He then drank three kegs and shit on their floor, just because he's Chuck Norris. Chuck Norris took my virginity, and he will sure as hell take yours. If you're thinking to yourself, "That's impossible, I already lost my virginity.", then you are dead wrong. Chuck Norris found out about Conan O'Brien's lever that shows clips from "Walker: Texas Ranger" and is working on a way to make it show clips of Norris having sex with Conan's wife. The chief export of Chuck Norris is pain. One of the greatest cover-ups of the last century was the fact that Hitler did not commit suicide in his bunker, but was in fact tea-bagged to death by Chuck Norris. Chuck Norris punched a woman in the vagina when she didn't give him exact change. After much debate, President Truman decided to drop the atomic bomb on Hiroshima rather than the alternative of sending Chuck Norris. His reasoning? It was more "humane". Chuck Norris doesn't have normal white blood cells like you and I. His have a small black ring around them. This signifies that they are black belts in every form of martial arts and they roundhouse kick the shit out of viruses. That's why Chuck Norris never gets ill. Chuck Norris frequently signs up for beginner karate classes, just so he can "accidentally" beat the shit out of little kids. Chuck Norris once tried to sue Burger King after they refused to put razor wire in his Whopper Jr., insisting that that actually is "his" way. Chuck Norris is currently suing NBC, claiming Law and Order are trademarked names for his left and right legs. If you can see Chuck Norris, he can see you. If you can't see Chuck Norris you may be only seconds away from death. Chuck Norris ruins the endings of Harry Potter books for children who just bought one for the hell of it. When they start crying Chuck Norris calmly says, "I'll give you something to cry about," and roundhouse kicks them in the face. Hellen Keller's favorite color is Chuck Norris.
So people are starting to get their XBox 360s as per contests...lucky bastaads!
I expect a message from EBX on my answering machine this evening regarding the "number pickup process." w00t! Sunday, November 13, 2005
So I stopped off at EB tonight to trade in my XBox and the extra controller. I've been a little forlorn since it was very unlikely I'd be receiving mine on Launch Day this coming Thursday. So I'm there and I'm going through the whole routine...Last name Palumbo. P-A-L-U-M-B-O. "Peter?" (The one guy knows me by name since I've been in often enough trading up towards the 360. I haven't paid a lick of cash yet for this sytem. The PSP went as well since I haven't played (or even booted it up save to update the firmware)in about 4 months. So the guy says he thought the name was familiar. "I was just about to call you." I figured it was to tell me when the next shipment would be (I would have been surprised if they even knew that) but he says the other employee can't afford his, so I was next on the list...bumped up. I'll get my XBox 360 Launch Day. w00t!
So as of tonight this is all paid off: -Premium system -3 extra wireless controllers -Play and charge kit -Perfect Darko Zero That totally made my month. I finally got a chance to play the system they had set up there (since the last 3x I've been there there was no monitor lol) and gave "Kameo" a spin. Very interesting game and lives upto all the hype. So Monday I'll have to stop there and get a "number." Then Wednesday night 12am they're releasing the system...which depending on how good my # is that I pick up I'll get it then or launch day. I'm definitely excited :P
